Update 2.1V Released!
Finally, some good stuff!
In 2.V Patch 1.2 [ALPHA] I have added many, many things that boost player engagement and satisfaction. I had many of my friends/play testers give me advice for additions and I've taken it to heart. Some of these in version 2.1 patch 1.2 are:
- Make gameplay easier to understand
- Added camera zoom for speed
- Many new skins (Atomic, Penguin, Duck, Cube, Mine, Rock Bottom, and Chicken)
- Achievements
- Achievement banners and notifications
- Window Settings
- Stats page in menu
- Reset Progress button
- Player Preference saving for almost all interactions in game (audio volume [shop & menu], RGB values, skins, selected skins, achievements)
- Streamlined the beginning and many parts
- Added new parts to the map
- Added a finish line
- Improved ceiling sliding + new audio
- Fixed bugs
Patch 1.0, and 1.1 had some bugs. 1.0 and 1.1 had scaling size issues with the achievement notifications. On my screen (1080p) all was good, however some of my play testers had bigger screens such as 4K and 1440p. The notification for achievements was then scaling in the wrong places, and staying on screen forever and being a general annoyance. This bug was fixed after some efforts, and all works smoothly now.
I can't wait to hear feedback on this new update, so far everyone I have showed it has loved it, and players for at least 30 minutes on the first play through, which makes me exited to add more developments to this game!
